Throughout the process of development and building the reputation of the Binh Minh Domesticated Postlarvae Shrimp brand, we consistently hold in high regard the relationships among Customers, Agents, and the Company. We regard customers and agents as family members. Consequently, in addition to organizing our community-focused activities every year, we also create many opportunities for all members to gather.
The annual conference is not only meetings but also the exchange of new insights concerning the shrimp industry across various regions within the country and in other developed countries.
This year, the Customer Conference was held on April 15, 2021, in Can Tho City with the aim of continuing the joyful atmosphere after Tet. At the same time, the Vietshrimp Fair was also organized during this period.
The Organizing Committee has designed a program to enable agents to participate in both events concurrently. With the desire to create a memorable and wonderful spring travel experience, we aspire to convey our image of enthusiasm, hospitality, and warm welcome. We’d like to share the following verse:
“Can Tho, white rice, clear water,
Whoever once visited, never wanted to leave.”
This verse contains the sentiment that agents will carry with them when recollecting the Binh Minh Domesticated Postlarvae Shrimp Company’s Conference.
The conference took place at CB Diamond Palace – Conference Banquet Center, Can Tho City, with the theme ‘Good Postlarvae, Big Shrimp, Helping Prosperity People’. The conference aimed to express deep gratitude and strengthen the spirit of cohesion with all agents and farmers.
Simultaneously, the conference also aimed to provide agents and customers with a clearer understanding of the company’s protocols and orientations for domesticated, disease-free, well-adapted, and highly resistant shrimp, thereby helping farmers have a successful season and sell at high prices.
Besides, the event also had the participation of Binh Minh’s partners and associates, including Jebsen & Jessen Corporation, I&V BIO Company, INVE Aquaculture, and more than 300 agents from Ben Tre, Tra Vinh, Soc Trang, Bac Lieu, Ca Mau provinces, etc.
We are honored to have guest speakers sharing their research at the conference. Our company representative, Mr. Nguyen Thai Binh, made several statements about the development orientation of the safe production process. This approach involves avoiding the use of disinfectant chemicals and antibiotics while meeting biosafety standards.
According to him, this direction will lead to sustainable development for the Vietnamese shrimp industry, establishing a high value and brand within the global shrimp supply chain. To support the rapid growth, high survival, and good adaptation of shrimp to current climate change conditions, while maintaining quality standards and avoiding the use of disinfectant chemicals and antibiotics, the domesticated shrimp line becomes the best choice.
Representatives of the Jebsen & Jessen Corporation also shared their formation and development process. Simultaneously, they shared the opportunity that led to their cooperation with our company. This assists guests in obtaining more information about reputable and high-quality products.
Dr. Farshad Shishehchian, CEO and founder of Blue Aqua Group, with the support and interpretation of Associate Professor Dr. Vu Ngoc Ut, Vice Dean of the College of Aquaculture and Fisheries at Can Tho University, delivered an online lecture on a new farming model called “Mixotrophic.” This super-intensive whiteleg shrimp farming process has been highly successful in the Singapore market, and the methods for treating water, minerals, algae, and improving pond environments with high density are effective.
Following the Conference program was a visit to the Vietnam International Shrimp Industry Technology Expo – VietShrimp. This event is designed to provide agents with the opportunity to access products for the shrimp industry, ranging from seeds, feed, and probiotics to new technological solutions that enhance the convenience and effectiveness of the shrimp farming process.
The fair also offers a platform for individuals to share experiences, exchange knowledge, and seek cooperation opportunities among stakeholders, which can then be applied to their production processes.
The organizing committee: “We have prepared the plan for this year’s conference quite early, partly because we were aware that the VietShrimp is also being held in Can Tho City. In addition, we always work with the criteria of achieving perfection in every aspect. This ranges from inviting guests and arranging transportation, as this year, we are honored to welcome numerous esteemed Dealers from various provinces in the Western and Eastern regions to attend. Additionally, it also includes selecting meals and organizing activities throughout the travel to ensure that everyone who comes to us has an experience like visiting with family, filled with joy, comfort, and the preservation of memorable moments.”
“In my opinion, this year’s conference was highly successful. The event provided me with essential information and the opportunity to learn from individuals in different regions. Throughout the year, I dedicate my time to shrimp farming and have limited chances for other activities. However, this year, Binh Minh Domesticated Postlarvae Shrimp Company extended an invitation for me to attend the Conference and visit the VietShrimp fair in Can Tho City. As a result, I organized my household tasks to be able to attend,” said Nguyen Huy Hoang, an agent from Ca Mau.
I often learn new shrimp farming models, especially those that don’t use antibiotics. Therefore, when I received an invitation to participate in the conference, I arranged all my tasks at home for my wife. I gained many benefits from attending the conference, including learning about the new High Tolerance Vannamei line. I’m planning to stock it in the next crop to check the shrimp quality. Additionally, I acquired information about shrimp and fish farming models in Singapore. Participating in the fair allowed me to discover new technological products, and I also received gifts from the organizers. It seems like this gift is only for those who attend the event. Moreover, I also made a few new friends to exchange experiences,” shared Mr. Nam Nhat, an agent from Ben Tre.
The conference this year concluded successfully and received significant support from attending customers. Nevertheless, there were still some regrets due to the absence of participation from agents in the Northern region due to certain objective reasons. As the Covid situation becomes more stable, we hope to organize the next conference in the Northern region, allowing agents to participate more enthusiastically and creating a network of shrimp farmers in the major shrimp-producing areas across the country.
